Korean Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup (Jang-Kalguksu)

It’s perfect for a cold wintery day but also a popular summer dish for many in Korea. The noodles are cut with a knife, giving the dish its name, kalguksu, which literally means knife noodles. Korean Spicy Seafood kalguksu is made on the basis of Kalguksu with specially formulated chilli paste, anchovy and seaweed based broth, mixed seafood and assorted vegetables. It delivers an elegant mouthful thick sweet spicy taste.




Meal kit

2-3 people

10-15 minutes

  • A pack of mixed seafood

  • Kalguksu for 2~3 people

  • Assorted vegetables

  • Magic Gochujang Kalguksu sauce

  1. Boil 2 Litre of water with the pre-made broth pack and sauce
  2. Remove the broth pack and add the veggies and cold-water-rinsed noodles to the pot. Cook for 7~10 minutes.
  3. When the noodles begin to boil, add the seafood mixture
  4. To finish off, decorate the dish with chopped scallions.


Food Storage Guide

1.The Korean Hang Over soup and Yukgaejang can be in a Freezer if you need to keep it longer period.

2.Meats or seafood in the packages can be stored in a freezer unless it is being consumed on the day delivered.

3.The rest of the contents can be kept in a fridge up to a week or longer.
